COLOURS
A Passion for Colour
Colour is what drives our range, what makes our tiles stand out and sit above the everyday. At Middle Earth Tiles we live and breathe colour, throughout our journey we see colour trends shift and change. Of course, some colours find more friends than others. Let our experienced team guide you through our selection and choose the right palette to suit your project.

Hand Painted Hacienda
Each tile is painted by hand, so there’s natural variation in colour, tone and finish.
That variation is the point — once installed, the surface reads with depth and movement rather than looking repeated or flat.
The patterns are built tile by tile. They can be kept simple and ordered, or combined to create something more expressive depending on the layout.
The range moves from softer, warmer tones through to stronger blue and white patterns, giving you options to either keep things quiet or introduce contrast.
It’s a flexible system — you can use it sparingly or across larger areas depending on the project.
Each tile is individually painted by hand, creating subtle variation that brings warmth, character and movement to every surface.
Patterns are built one tile at a time, allowing simple motifs to be combined into more detailed compositions.
Classic Blue and White
Traditional Blue and White patterns provide a classic counterpoint within the collection, designed to work alongside both subtle neutrals and richer statement glazes.
Fishscale Tiles
The fishscale format adds softness and movement to a surface, breaking away from straight lines and rigid grids.
It’s a simple shape, but the way it repeats creates a subtle pattern that feels more relaxed and decorative without becoming overdone.
Depending on the colour and layout, it can sit quietly in the background or become a feature in its own right — particularly effective in bathrooms, splashbacks and hospitality spaces.
